Objectivity

I am a very rational person, sometimes to a fault. I try to look at things as objectively as possible. Few things drive me insane more than subjective or ad hominem arguments or decision making processes.
Keep that in mind and imagine my reaction to the American Idol finale.
I know it is not at all important. It's not even that important to me personally. I'm not going to rush out and buy an album or a poster or whatever. But Adam is simply the more talented vocalist and overall performer so it just bugs me that he didn't win.
It also bugs me that apparently I was annoyed enough about American Idol, of all things, to come home and blog about it.
At least now the season is over and two more week nights are freed up to do productive things like learn German and read the great Russians.
